Best practices for AI asset summaries
These recommendations help your team get the most value from AI asset summaries while managing your instance quota effectively.
Complete all edits before generating summaries
Each generation counts as one against your instance quota. If you need to make multiple changes to an asset, complete all of them before selecting Regenerate. Refreshing mid-edit generates a summary of an incomplete state and requires another refresh once you are done.
Prioritize high-value assets
Focus on the assets your team uses and references most often. Good candidates for early summaries include:
- Blueprints with many nodes or complex logic
- Audiences referenced across multiple campaigns
- Frequently reused templates and snippets
- Assets created by team members who are no longer available to explain them
Generate audience summaries alongside Blueprint summaries
Blueprint summaries cover the Blueprint's own logic and do not include the underlying audience query. If understanding the full data flow matters to your team, generate a separate summary for the associated audience as well. This gives readers a complete picture without needing to open either asset.
Read summaries before reusing or modifying assets
Before duplicating or modifying an existing asset, read its summary to understand its current purpose. This reduces the risk of unintentional changes and helps prevent duplicate assets from being created for the same use case.
Monitor your quota
A countdown of remaining summaries is visible in the summary drawer. Monitor the countdown regularly and coordinate with your team to prioritize where refreshes are most needed. If you anticipate running low, contact your Customer Success Manager before the limit is reached.
