About AI asset summaries
AI asset summaries is available in version 26.2.1 and later. The feature is disabled by default. See Generate and manage AI asset summaries to enable it.
AI asset summaries automatically generate concise, plain-language summaries for your assets. Each summary describes what an asset does and why it exists, without requiring you to open the asset or read through its configuration.
Summaries appear in asset list views and detail pages, so your team can evaluate assets before clicking into them and make faster decisions about whether to reuse, modify, or build something new.
What a summary contains​
For most asset types, each AI-generated summary has three parts:
- Title: A descriptive header identifying the asset (for example, "Summer loyalty email summary").
- TLDR: A single sentence describing what the asset does and its intended purpose.
- Details: Three to five bullet points highlighting key themes, functions, or characteristics that distinguish this asset from similar ones.
Summaries are written in plain language and are limited to 150 words to keep them scannable.
How summaries are generated​
Summaries are generated in two ways:
Automatic generation
When you open an asset for the first time after enabling the feature, a summary begins generating for the asset in the background. The summary is typically already available by the time you select the Summary button. The AI icon on the Summary button fills in when generation is complete.
User-initiated generation
From an asset list view, summaries are not generated automatically, indicated by an unfilled AI icon. You can initiate generation by selecting Summarize in the summary drawer. This lets you evaluate an asset from the list without opening it.

When an asset changes​
Summaries are not automatically updated when an asset changes. When you save changes to an asset, a caution indicator appears in the summary drawer to indicate that the existing summary was generated from an earlier version and may no longer be accurate. You must manually select Regenerate to update the summary.
Because each refresh counts against your instance quota, the best practice is to complete all changes to an asset before refreshing its summary. Bulk refresh is not supported.
Summary quota​
Each Accelerator instance has a shared quota of 1,000 summary generations across all users and asset types. Both generating and refreshing a summary each count as one against the quota. A countdown of remaining summaries is visible in the summary drawer. The quota resets on the first day of the month.
You cannot delete individual summaries. To stop the feature from generating new summaries, disable it through the feature flag in Admin settings.
Supported asset types​
Minimum requirements and limits​
AI asset summaries are available for the following asset types. Assets must meet the minimum requirement for a summary to be generated. Assets that exceed the maximum size limit cannot be summarized.

If an asset does not meet its minimum requirement, the UI displays an explanatory message when you attempt to generate a summary.
What each summary covers​
Each asset type uses a different prompt, so the summary focuses on what is most meaningful for that type of asset.

Blueprints and Blueprint node summaries​
Blueprint summaries and Blueprint node summaries work together. When you generate a Blueprint summary, summaries will auto-generate for all nodes within that Blueprint. You cannot generate or refresh node summaries independently.
A Blueprint summary covers the Blueprint's own logic and configuration. It does not include the underlying audience query that feeds into the Blueprint. The audience is a separate asset with its own separate summary, which you can generate from the Audiences list.
Node summaries appear directly on the canvas nodes within the Blueprint editor, so you can see what each node does without opening its settings.
If you edit a Blueprint's structure after its summary has been generated, a warning label appears on all node summaries. The warning has two states: while changes are unsaved, it prompts you to save the Blueprint and then regenerate the summary. Once the Blueprint is saved but not yet regenerated, it prompts you to regenerate the summary. The warning disappears once you regenerate the Blueprint summary.
For child Blueprints in a Blueprint chain, Accelerator uses context from the immediate parent Blueprint (one level upstream) when generating the summary. The summary also notes that the Blueprint is a child with a parent Blueprint.
Where summaries appear​
Summaries are accessible in the following places:
- List view: A summary drawer on the asset list page lets you evaluate assets without clicking into them.
- Detail page: Summaries appear on the asset detail page once you open an asset.
- Read-only views: Summaries appear in Blueprint chain flow, Blueprint data settings, the Blueprint tab in External campaigns, and the Blueprint filter in Marketing campaign audiences.
